7. School Managing Committee


It consists of 3 members of the Executive Committee  of the trust, 2 teacher representatives, 2 guardian representatives, 2 outside senior teachers of the rank of Principals of CBSE Higher Secondary School and 2 nominees of the CBSE who are Principals of KV and NV of Muzaffarpur respectively. Details of the members are available on Annexure-D.

6. Salary


This school maintains its salary account in Public Sector Bank namely Central Bank of India, Damodarpur Branch, Muzaffarpur, Bihar for disbursement of monthly salary to its staff through a single cheque vide account payment. The salary scale is matching to the counterpart in the State Govt., notified from time to time.

5.Teachers


On the basis of the present enrolment of students there are 21 sections of students consisting of about 40 students per section and therefore there are nearly 840 students in the school from N class to Higher Secondary class of XI. As per list of teachers submitted here we are maintaining the standard prescribed by CBSE of 1:30 teachers – students ratio, in other words class section  to teachers ratio is 1:1.5. A list of working teachers with comprehensive resume is available on Annexure-C.

Land Possession Certificate and Physical features of the Building:

The School has 2.02 acres of land and the building is constructed on a part of the same land and playground on the remaining land with the facility for morning assembly. Necessary Certification from the District Administration is available on Annexure-B.

3.SCHOOL MANAGER



Smt.  Shama  Thakur  is    the  Manager  of
SRT  school   under   by  - laws  of   the
CBSE to exercise control over working of the
school as Liaison  Officer of  the  trust. She  is
the  founder  Principal  of  SRT   school  who
realised  the   dream  project of   the  trust. She
continues   to  portray   her    personality   of
dedication  to   her  duty, strong character, strict
discipline, love for  children and care  for  her                                      From the desk of

2.Registered Society

The  school  is  run  by  the  Bihar  Technical  Education  Trust, registered under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the Govt. of  Bihar  having  its  Regd. No. 19/1980  with  the present   HQ   at   SRT   Building,   Rahulnagar,  P.O - MIT  Muzaffarpur – 842003 (Bihar), Phone No – 0621 – 2261318.
At present it has Executive Committee consisting of 11 members one Founder Member, 6 Elected Founder Member and 4 Donor members with Dr.R.Thakur, Founder Member as its President and Sri.Bishundeo Pd. Singh as its General Secretary. A list of the present Executive Committee members is on Annexure-A.

Dr. Thakur  is a  staunch  humanist  and a scholar with strong patriotic bond with his character. The coming up of this model school is the realization and expression of long cherished desire of Dr.Thakur.

The Executive Committee has formally affirmed its Non-proprietary status duly sworn-in its Affidavit before Sub – Divisional Magistrate/First Class Magistrate, Muzaffarpur that the members of the Executive committee do not belong to one family and are not related to each other thus the Management is purely of Non – PROPRIETARY character and its constitution is such that it does not vest control in a SINGLE INDIVIDUAL OR MEMBERS OF A PARTICULAR FAMILY.


FACILITIES
1.     Some notable physical facilities which are available to facilitate unhindered studies, movement of students, help maintain healthy and regular live of students are mentioned here –
  • i)  Playgrounds spread over 1800 Sq.mtrs. of land comprising outdoor games such as Volley balls, Basket balls, etc. Besides some indoor games such as Carr om Board, Chess Board, Chinese Checker, Badminton, Table Tennis, etc., are available in games room. Gymnastic facilities are also available. Some views are presented here.

  • ii)  Safe and secured Transport facilities consisting of 8 school buses are available at present. A View of students boarding the buses can be seen in the campus.



































































                          
                       
  • iii) Separate toilets for boys and girls with modern fittings.
  • iv)  Safe drinking water is available at all convenient points in the campus.
  • v)   Fire extinguishers are available.
  • vi)  Suitable arrangements for class rooms and campus illumination and suitable number of fans in class rooms are provided. Back-up generator and solar system facilities are available.
  • vii) It is a walled campus with security gates for entrance and exit.
  • viii First Aids are provided.
  • ix) Gardening activities are promoted to inculcate habits of maintaining ecological balance.



2.     At present total available built-up floor space of school building for 840 students is  compared to  840 Sq.mtr required as per norms.


     Number of students as per norms 40 students/section  is being maintained.


4.     Library is well equipped and spacious, having reading facilities for 40 students at one time. At present it has about 7000 books including reference and mandatory books prescribed by the CBSE whereas it is required to have only 5 X 840 = 4200 books as per norms. 6.     Each class room is exactly as per norms i.e., 8mX6m (500 Sq-Ft)

  Composite laboratory consisting of science, math and social science lab for secondry lavel is available where room size is 650 Sq.Ft. and is fully equipped for different sections. A view of the activities of the lab can be seen.

Separate science lab for senior secondary classes are Physics (600 Sq.Ft), Chemistry (600 Sq.Ft.) and Biology (600 Sq.Ft.). Views in working hour can be seen here.





8.     Library has floor space as per norms i.e., 1125Sq.Ft.

9.     


    Computer lab is built to facilitate 40 systems at one time for one section of students. However, it has only 15 systems loaded with various useful software’s.

  Facilities for extracurricular and recreation are partially available and complete infrastructure will be available very soon.
